Together with prof. Van de Walle, I published an article in HHealth Policyealth Policy on resistance of health professionals to implementing policies, based on a  survey among 1317 Dutch psychologists, psychotherapists and psychiatrists. These mental health professionals are not eager to work with Diagnosis Related Groups – an innovation aimed at classifying and costing their activities. This tool is increasingly being used to allocate funds in health systems. You can consult the article on the journal’s website: ‘Explaining health care professionals’ resistance to implement Diagnosis Related Groups: (No) benefits for society, patients and professionals.
